The Facebook mobile terminal, postponed for 2013

We haven’t heard anything related to the enigmatic Facebook handset in a while, but new rumors say that the product will become reality next year.
Rumors confirm that Facebook will work with HTC to design the terminal, which became known several months ago, and offers no additional technical detail. According to published information, the phone will hit the market somewhere in the middle of next year, the delay being caused by HTC’s current plans, which prevents the terminal release this year.
It is well known that HTC launched in 2011 two Android smartphones with Facebook integration and dedicated shortcut button, but the Chacha and Salsa models have not enjoyed success at all. It seems that the future terminal will use a modified version of the Android operating system, responsible for design and optimization is a team of former Apple employees, the same team that promised some time ago a completely rebuilt iOS Facebook application for this year’s summer.
